If I asked you to name two Australian actors, I’m imagining that Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman would spring to mind. Well, the duo have found themselves in a rivalry, albeit a friendly one, and the result is hilarious.
It’s all to do with Deadpool 3 which is due out next year. For the most part, we know very little about Ryan Reynolds’ next outing as the infamous merc but we do know that yet again, the film will be R-rated and Marvel boss Kevin Feige has teased that Deadpool 3 will be a part of the MCU. Outside of this, we can merely speculate but Chris Hemsworth isn’t too thrilled about one prominent rumour.
Chris Hemsworth will return as Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder which is due out next month. Take a look at the wild trailer below.
Shawn Levy will direct Deadpool 3 after previously teaming up with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. Levy has expressed interest in bringing Hugh Jackman onboard for the film to reprise his role as Wolverine, but Chris Hemsworth has thought of a better actor to add to the franchise: himself.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1, Hemsworth jested, “I might make some calls to make sure [Jackman doesn't appear in Deadpool 3] … I'll put myself in Deadpool instead. That would be the offering." The duo clearly have a friendly rapport. Maybe we could have Wolverine and Thor in Deadpool 3. I’d be down for it.
Whilst I’m sure the chances of that happening are slim, we will soon be able to see Hemsworth in action as Thor again in Thor: Love and Thunder which happens to be the shortest Marvel film in four years. Take ‘short’ with a pinch of salt. The film is 119 minutes so there’s still plenty for us to enjoy. I think we’re all desperate to see Gorr, The God Butcher come to life. Dude sounds terrifying.
