Well, that’s quite the surprise. Not only has Netflix finally confirmed that a sixth season of Black Mirror is on the way, they’ve also gone and filmed the entire thing right under our noses, dropping a surprise trailer.

Netflix has been pretty busy in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, we were treated to our first look at season three of The Witcher. The new season will serve as star Henry Cavill’s last before he hands over the reins to Liam Hemsworth. Cavill hasn’t publicly explained why he’s leaving the series but it’s assumed he no longer agrees with the direction the writers are taking the show in. Fans aren’t convinced about the idea of Hemsworth as Geralt. The new trailer has gone down very well though, with fans thrilled at seeing Cavill in action one last time. Let’s hop back on over to Black Mirror though.

Take a look at the brand new trailer below for Black Mirror’s sixth season below.

Out of nowhere, Netflix has confirmed that season six of Black Mirror is on the way and will release very, very soon - June to be exact. The trailer gives us a good idea about what we can expect. Well, actually, this is Black Mirror. We have no idea what to expect, but it does boast a star-studded cast.

Season six will star (via Variety): Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin, and Zazie Beetz. That is a stellar line-up.

Judging by the trailer, season six looks a little more violent than we’re used to. I’m sure it’ll include plenty of mind-bending twists.
