A new Batman game has apparently been leaked according to an insider, and it sounds there’s a very good chance that Robert Pattinson’s Batman will be returning to our screens a little sooner than we thought.
So, I will say ahead of time that Batman Arkham fans shouldn’t get too ahead of themselves here. Unfortunately, this one isn’t related to Rocksteady Studios’ franchise (although we have heard plenty of leaks about a new entry in that series already).
On the plus side, it is the second-best thing: a new LEGO Batman game.
As detailed in a post by the Twitter account LEGO Games News, the “next LEGO Game by TT Games” is apparently “heavily rumored to be a Movie Based Batman title that will span multiple movies across the Caped Crusader’s career.”

They did also state in a follow-up reply that the leak “comes from a very reliable source who is close to TT Games and has been right in the past”, and that the new Batman game will officially be revealed on August 19th at Gamescom.
So, what does the r/batman subreddit think of this?
I’m sure it won’t come as a shock to say that they’re extremely excited about the possibility.

Gotta say, I’ve not played a LEGO game in a while, but… this could get me to buy one again.
Bonus points if it lets all of the different Batmen interact in some way. I desperately want to hear what a conversation between Adam West’s Batman and Ben Affleck’s Batman would sound like.
