Batman: Arkham Knight fans are still holding on to hope that the series will get some kind of official continuation, it seems, because the ten-year-old game is still getting a bunch of new content added to it every single week.

With Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on the horizon, you might think that fans of the Batman: Arkham trilogy might have had their desire for new content satiated somewhat.

If anything, the opposite seems to be true, because new mods for Warner Bros’ and Rocksteady Studios’ 2015 release Batman: Arkham Knight are still flooding the Nexus Mods site on a weekly basis… and, of course, someone has taken it upon themselves to mod Lego Batman into the game.

If you haven’t checked out what’s on offer recently, here’s a quick little roundup of some of the coolest ones I found over the past month.

First up, the aforementioned Lego Batman suit: Lego The Batman - Legacy of The Dark Knight (New Suit Slot) from mod author PhoutFPS.

I cannot stress how ridiculously impressive this one is. The suit is based on the one in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, but the mod author didn’t use any official assets for the job. Instead, they made the suit from scratch, which is probably why it looks so goddamn good. This one has to be seen in motion to be believed.

This next one is probably the most famous Batman: Arkham Knight mod of the past month, and for good reason: HD Texture Pack by mod author neatodev.

Considering that Batman: Arkham Knight still holds up extremely well today, ten years after release, you might wonder exactly how someone would even go about improving it. Seems that, according to the mod author, it’s a mix of manual work and some upscaling improvements. The commenters absolutely love it though, which is the most important thing.

This next one is actually three separate mods, but I’m going to include them all as one part (for a specific reason that will make sense shortly): Batman 2025 by mod author Jaybubbaloo, Batman - Fraction by mod author Sinoda0, and Gabriele Dell'Otto Comics Batman Skin by mod author DavinAradit28.

In case you missed it, Batman just got a new reboot in the DC comics, and as a result, he received a newly redesigned suit that I think looks sick. All three of the aforementioned mods are based on the new design, so really it’s just a matter of which one you prefer. Frankly I think they all do a great job of capturing the new suit, so you can’t go wrong here.

And that’s the whole list, but make sure you have a browse through the new mods on Nexus regardless. It’s clear that the hype for the original trilogy is still very much alive, so let’s hope Warner Bros are paying attention.
