Baldur's Gate 3 dubbed the 'horniest game of the year'

When asked the first thing that comes to mind related to our favourite video games, it might be unlikely that we’d instantly think of how horny it might be. If that is you, go and have a cold shower you deviant!

2023 has blessed us with some truly fantastic games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Street Fighter 6, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and many more. Perhaps two of the strongest contenders for Game of the Year would be Alan Wake II and Baldur’s Gate 3, both of which are surely set to win all the accolades at The Game Awards 2023 next month.

One accolade that won’t be presented at The Game Awards will be for the ‘Horniest Game of the Year’. However, that hasn't stopped raunchy fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 from discussing the hot shenanigans of the Dungeons and Dragons-inspired RPG from Larian Studios.

“Why is everyone so horny?” asked Redditor embioz1 (via Wired). “I know you probably heard this here more times than I can count but seriously, why is everyone so horny? I thought they patched it out so the companions act more natural but no, everyone seems so horny that I seriously haven't had a normal conversation with my companions in ages.” Just a heads up, the Reddit thread does contain spoilers.

They continued: “It's really hard to find a dialogue option that's not flirty but also not rude. Especially Gale and Astarion who can't seem to leave me alone lately. I can't say how much Gale triggers me, every time he tells me a story or wants to show me his magic', it somehow gets way too sensual.”

“Dude, it's normal. Unfortunately, Gale does have the 'nice guy' vibes and gets upset about being in friend zone and hopes that if he pesters you enough, you'll sleep with him,” explained one user in response. “If Larian Studios were trying to make a typical 'nice guy', bravo, they succeeded.”

“Haha, I stopped talking to Gale, and Astarion never really liked me for some reason. Couldn't care less, I dumped him for Halsin,” replied Lammsauc3. “Well, I want to progress every companion story so I have no choice but to talk to him. And yeah, Astarion also often disagrees with me but still tried to get in my pants more than once,” said embioz1.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is out now on PC and PlayStation 5 with it expected to arrive on Xbox Series X|S next month.
