There is no denying that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is already a stunning game, especially as it was only released four years ago.

However, this graphics overhaul for the twelfth major entry in the much-loved series makes it look damn-near photorealistic.

Check out some funny moments from Assassin's Creed Valhalla below!

Released in 2020 and taking players to the time of the Vikings, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla by Ubisoft was one of the series’ most ambitious.

Taking place in a giant open-world, the RPG took place during the Viking expansions into the British Isles and saw players take on the role of assassin Eivor.

Originally released on the PlayStation 4 before later coming to PlayStation 5 and all other platforms, Valhalla was already a stunning game.

However, Youtuber Digital Dreams has taken it to the next level by showcasing a video of the title using RTX 4090, Ray Tracing and ultra graphics and the results are astonishing.

The almost ten-minute video shows us Eivor walking around the expansive map, through lush, sunlight-dappled forests, snow strewn peaks and bustling settlements.

It is hard not to notice the crystal clear graphics with beautiful lighting, reflections and shadows.

As well as the boosted settings, the creator has also included a ReShade preset which makes the colours of AC Valhalla pop even more and I don’t know about you, but this makes me excited for the future of gaming.

In related news, a fellow Valhalla player has discovered a hidden detail after 200 hours of gameplay.

The discovery is of the feline variety and is pretty damn cute if you ask me.

It is set to be an exciting few months for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series as Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to release on 12 November.

This will take players to 16th-century Japan and see them take on the roles of both Naoe, a female shinobi and Yasuke, an African samurai.
