Assassin's Creed Valhalla player uncovers hidden detail after 200 hours

An adorable stowaway

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a whopper of a game, so you can somewhat forgive this player for overlooking a small but important detail.

In fact, according to HowLongToBeat, it’ll take you around 146 hours to 100% Valhalla, with most people finishing the main campaign in around 61 hours.

The player I'm talking about today has racked up over 200 hours. Whether that’s across one or multiple playthroughs I don’t know.

Reddit user chere2 took to Reddit to write, “200 [hours] of gameplay and I just noticed there’s a cat chilling in your boat.”

This is Nali the cat who will join your boat once you’ve visited Norwich.

Essentially, Nali used to belong to Kottr but following the character’s death became a stray within the town.

That is until she meets us, or should I say Eivor. After encountering and chasing Nali in Norwich, you can invite this sweet little feline friend aboard your longship.

Who wouldn’t want to acquire such an adorable travel companion?

ICYMI: Check out the latest gameplay reveal for Assassin’s Creed Shadows which is set to launch later this year.

Given that this is how you acquire Nali, I can only presume that the OP wasn’t paying attention during this segment because the open world event isn’t exactly easy to miss if you do encounter it.

“It’s not that I’ve never paid attention, but after 200 hours and completing pretty much everything, I don’t remember and never noticed it, it’s not like I use the longship 24/7,” they offered as an explanation.

It’s a strange situation but it turns out, chere2 isn’t the only one.

“Wait what, I never knew that hahaha,” added a surprised TheOfficialY1B.

So there you have it. If you want to acquire this adorable friend who, yes, you can pet, head on over to Norwich and you should find Nali prowling the streets, terrorising the town’s chickens.

And if you did complete the quest somehow totally oblivious about your own actions, take a glance down in your longship.

You may be harbouring the world’s cutest stowaway.
