ARC Raiders' Devs Drop Tonne of Content on Free to Play Alternative

Look the part in the upcoming season

There is no denying that ARC Raiders has taken the gaming world by storm this year but did you know that Embark Studios also have a free to play alternative?

Not only that but the free alternative in question just so happens to be offering heaps of new content to enjoy right now.

Launching back in October, extraction shooter ARC Raiders has been firm competition for others titles in the multiplayer genre, allowing friends to team up across a lethal future earth ravaged by a mysterious mechanised threat.

Offering PvPvE content, the game has received generally favourable reviews but due to its use of AI generated content, it has missed the mark with some players.

However, what many do not realise is that before ARC Raiders, developers Embark Studios had achieved success with The Finals, the “world’s first Dynamism Shooter” with fast-paced, physics-driven combat.

Set on the stage of the biggest gameshow in the world, players will go head-to-head in fully destructible arenas in single or multiplayer gameplay.

Better yet? The Finals is completely free to play but as you can probably expect with the FPS genre, if you want to look your best when it comes to cosmetics, you had better be ready to splash the cash.

With in-game cosmetics, Battle Passes, gun charms, pets, and skins costing real-life money, standing out amongst the crowd is going to cost you.

But with the game costing absolutely nothing to download and play, we guess Embark has to make its money somewhere.

The Battle Pass Offers Heaps of Cosmetics and More...

That is why it has just realised its Season 9 Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle for The Finals which includes the following:

  • Season 9 Premium Battle Pass
  • 20 Battle Pass Levels*
  • 25% Match XP Boost
  • 1,000 Multibucks
  • Season 9 Ultimate Rewards in the Battle Pass

Not only that but purchasing the bundle will also apply a 25% Match XP Boost to your contestant throughout the duration of Season 9 and so you will power through the Battle Pass in no time.

With the Battle Pass offering multiple cosmetics and in-game boosts, it is worth grabbing if you feel as though you are going to sink a lot of time into The Finals during Season 9.

However, in an attempt to make it my mission to point out genAI in any game I write about, it is worth noting that The Finals also includes AI generated content, mainly in voiceover content.
