Bully fans will soon be able to revisit the epic highs and lows of high school in this brand new game which has just set a release date.

We’ve covered Agefield High: Rock the School before on GAMINGbible, where we were impressed by Refugium Games’ dedication to making a spiritual successor to Rockstar’s Bully.

Built as a sandbox game where you play as a high school student in the final weeks before graduation, Agefield High feels like a massive throwback to crude teen comedies of the 2000s.

After receiving 175,000 wishlists from players eager to check the game out, Refugium has now revealed that Agefield High will be released on August 12, just three weeks away.

“Relive your High School days in the town of Agefield. It’s the early 2000s, and graduation is on the horizon. REBEL with your friends, win over your dream girl and ROCK the school! A coming-of-age adventure about friendship, love, and rebellion inspired by the raunchy teen comedies of the era,” the blurb on Agefield High reads.

Agefield High: Rock the School is one for Rockstar fans to keep an eye on

In the game you play as Sam, a student attending Agefield High School with his friends Kale and Axel. In the weeks leading up to graduation, you and your friends plot a “Rock the School” plan, which will leave your mark on the school as a legend.

Agefield High: Rock the School features a dynamic time and school system where days progress in a similar fashion to Grand Theft Auto or Bully.

You attend class during the weekdays and complete missions outside of that. There are also a load of activities to discover in the open world, which are perfect to fill your time between progressing the story.

Outside of the school, you’re also free to explore the small town of Agefield, which features two neighbourhoods, a town centre, and the countryside in addition to the high school campus.

This is where the sandbox elements come into play, where you use your money to buy things like new clothes, bikes, and more. If you’re low on cash, earn good grades at school to get pocket money, or skip class and get money by other means.

Agefield High: Rock the School draws immediate comparisons to Bully by Rockstar Games, an open world game from 2006 which featured a similar premise. Here in Europe, you may remember the game as “Canis Canem Edit”.

At the time, it was seen as “GTA high school” with similar activities and gameplay features, but repurposed to reflect the experience of a high school student.

Although Bully never received a sequel, it did get a remaster for Xbox 360 and Wii in 2008. Given the subtitle Scholarship Edition, this version of the game expanded the large roster of content with new classes and missions.

Since then, fans have repeatedly called upon Rockstar to develop a second Bully game, but as of 2026 there has been no sign of such a game existing.
