Adin Ross apologises for 'absolutely f**king nothing' after transphobic rant

Adin Ross has refused to apologise for his hateful rant towards gender-neutral pronouns, saying he did "absolutely f**king nothing" wrong.

Controversial streamer Adin Ross has refused to apologise after ‘joking’ that his pronouns are “kill/them”, claiming that he’d done “absolutely f**king nothing” wrong.

Kick streamer Ross, who was recently banned from Twitch, came under fire last week after launching a hateful rant against pronouns. He was reacting to a TikTok video in which a teacher went by the neopronouns xe/xem. Neopronouns are simply a form of gender-neutral pronouns. Reacting to the video, Ross called the clip “so cringe”.

He went on to say, “Listen bro, to all you guys that get to pick your pronouns, my pronouns is [sic] kill/them. Okay? F**k all y’all bro, y’all are making the world a s***ty place bro. I’m going to call you either a guy or a girl. I’m not calling you by a cat, by a turtle. I don’t give a f**k if you got a tail or f**king whiskers. I don’t give a f**k.”

Ross immediately came under fire, with many citing the rant as hateful and harmful towards the LGBTQIA+ community. In his latest Kick livestream though, Ross refused to apologise for what he’d said, despite calls to do so from many viewers. “I said something. It was a clip, if you guys want to talk about this clip. [It’s] on Twitter. It’s been going around all of these blog places. It’s basically something I said about offending some type of group of people,” he began.

“I just want to, from the bottom of my heart, apologise for absolutely f**king nothing. I’m Adin Ross. Adin Ross can say whatever the f**k he says.” A remixed viral sound clip of UFC fighter Conor McGregor could then be heard saying, “The double-champ does whatever the f**k he wants,” as Ross danced on.

He further explained, “About that community, I love that community. I wasn’t directly coming at trans people, at gay people. I was coming at people with these pronouns and they refer to themselves as dogs and s**t. I wasn’t coming at anybody that was a part of – you know what I’m saying? That’s all it was. I understand how it got twisted. I understand how people see that clip and thought, “Oh f**k, you’re being serious.’ You know what I’m saying? That’s what I wanted to say about that.”

Later in the same stream, Ross expressed interest in travelling to Romania to go and stream with the highly controversial Andrew Tate.
