007 First Light Free DLC Up For Grabs In Limited Pre-Launch Event

The end of April nears which means that 007 First Light’s launch month is almost upon us.
On 27 May, 007 First Light will be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S introducing us to Patrick Gibson’s Bond as he earns his 00 status.
It’s set to be a star-studded affair, as Gibson will be joined by Lennie James, Gemma Chan, and Lenny Kravitz, with Lana Del Rey having provided the theme song ‘First Light’.
This is certainly a video game launch of epic proportions, and IO Interactive has devised a clever ploy to get you to check out its former release, HITMAN World of Assassination.

Le Chiffre of Casino Royale fame is returning to HITMAN World of Assassination and those who play through the legendary villain’s campaign will bag some unique DLC for 007 First Light.
Bond fans will, of course, know that Le Chiffre was portrayed by the incredible Mads Mikkelsen in Casino Royale.
Mikkelsen returns to the role here with Le Chiffre facing off against Agent 47.
“Do you have what it takes to go hand to hand against him?” devs asked, teasing the target.
You can play this target completely for free from 27 April to 25 May - in other words, in the lead up to 007 First Light’s release.
If you do so, you’ll nab the ‘Casino Suit’ for 007 First Light, an exclusive DLC reward.
This is an all black formal look mirroring what Le Chiffre wears in the film.
The outfit could come in handy in 007 First Light given that Bond will need to engage in stealth and blend in with a variety of different surroundings.
This is all part of HITMAN World of Assassination’s wider Season of the Royal Ace.
If you own 007 First Light, you’ll be able to unlock the ‘Timeless Tuxedo Suit’ for HITMAN World of Assassination as a reward.
If you played the elusive target when it originally released last June though, it will already be unlocked for you.
You can also purchase ‘The Banker Pack’ now which includes premium Le Chiffre items for the most dedicated of fans.
That includes the ‘King of Cards Suit’, ‘Silenced Pistol’ as well as a poker chip and rope.
Those with IOI accounts can further nab the ‘The Poker Face Duck’ from 27 April to 25 May, plus there are two upcoming Twitch drops.
From 27 April to 25 May, tuning into an eligible HITMAN World of Assassination stream will nab you ‘The Casino Monarchique Chip’, with ‘The Purple Streak Wrench’ becoming available from 7 to 28 May.
The excitement is certainly building around 007 First Light which appears to blend HITMAN style stealth with the gunplay and globe-trotting stylings of the dormant Uncharted franchise.
“Follow James Bond as a young, resourceful and sometimes reckless recruit in MI6's training program, and discover an origin story of the world’s most famous spy,” the synopsis reads.
“After a heroic act, young Naval air crewman James Bond is offered to join the newly revived Double 0 program.
“But when a mission to stop a rogue agent ends in tragedy, he must join forces with his reluctant mentor Greenway to expose a deep conspiracy and stop a looming coup at the heart of the State.”
