It’s almost time for James Bond to make his long-awaited return to gaming.
Tomorrow, on 27 May, 007 First Light will officially launch, unless you pre-ordered in which case you should benefit from early access today, 26 May.
Developer IO Interactive actually ended up releasing the opening cinematic of the title over the weekend after several physical copies were delivered to gamers early.
If you’re yet to get your hands on 007 First Light, you may actually have made the smartest move.

A standard edition of the game retails for £59.99 / $69.99, but a new offer has surfaced where you could secure a copy for free.
That’s because, as spotted by PCGamesN, NVIDIA is offering a free copy of the title with the purchase of a 12-month membership to NVIDIA GeForce Now.
If you’re not familiar with NVIDIA GeForce Now, it’s a subscription service that essentially allows you to play high-end PC games regardless of whether your hardware is up to scratch.
That’s because NVIDIA GeForce Now relies on powerful cloud-streaming servers that make use of GeForce RTX technology.
This makes it possible for PC users to enjoy new game releases with impressive graphics and high framerates, without having to fork out thousands on a new top tier PC.

In fact, the experience is equivalent to about what you might expect if you were using the RTX 5080 class of graphics card, which can set you back almost $1,000, with 5K resolution and up to 360fps.
There’s no need to download games either given that everything is running via a cloud server, plus you can stream to multiple different devices including PCs, laptops, tablets, and phones.
Of course, the subscription service isn’t free, but you don’t typically get a copy of 007 First Light thrown in for no cost whatsoever.
There are three tiers to NVIDIA GeForce Now and those are ‘free’, ‘performance’, and ‘ultimate’.
It’s a 12 month membership of the ultimate tier that you’ll need to be able to secure this offer.
That’ll set you back $199.99 / £199.99.
That nets you compatibility with over 4,500 games, eight-hour gaming sessions, first priority access to streaming queues, NVIDIA RTX Ray Tracing, 100 hour premium monthly playtime, no ads, ultrawide monitor support, DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, and more.
Unlike other gaming subscription services, NVIDIA GeForce Now doesn’t include a library of free games.
You’ll need to own a title via other PC storefronts in order to unlock its streaming equivalent via NVIDIA GeForce Now.
That’s where the free code comes in though. For a limited time, when you purchase a 12-month ultimate membership, you’ll be sent a code for 007 First Light.
Simply redeem the code and then you can enjoy it either natively on your PC or via NVIDIA GeForce Now.
The offer is set to run until 10 June 2026 or “while stocks last” so if this deal is appealing to you, I’d act sooner rather than later.
The code must be redeemed within 90 days after it’s sent.
