GTA 5 free download available for you to grab this week

It’s time for me to tell you about the latest freebies available in GTA Online, part of GTA V, and I’ll freely admit, I’m not overly qualified to rate these free items.

GTA Online has passed me by, with only a rare dabble in the heists, where I found myself incredibly out of my depth, but hopefully some players enjoy what’s on offer from Rockstar Games.

Celebrate Lunar New Year in GTA Online this month

There’s always a bonus of free item to claim in GTA V, and this week Rockstar Games are offering a few rewards to celebrate Chinese New Year.

To unlock these new outfit options, you simply have to log in and play GTA Online through to 12 February.

You’ll find yourself the owner of some swag (do the kids still say swag?) and walk the streets of Liberty City looking fresh.

The Lunar New Year gifts, include the Black Snake Yogarishima Outfit, Red Serpent Leather Jacket, Snake Soul Pendant, Snake King Pendant, Red Snake Soul Cap, and Gray Snake King Cap.

Also, if you find all 36 Yuanbao Collectibles throughout the game before 12 February, you’ll receive the Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit.

That’s a lot to grab from Rockstar Games, and plenty to keep you busy over the coming weeks.

GTA players are, of course, looking forward to GTA VI which will be coming later this year, and there’s a hope that more news will come regarding the evolution of GTA Online.

We’d imagine that a whole new online component will emerge, allowing the same hi jinks but over in Vice City instead.

Sadly, there’s no news on this as yet, much like there’s still no recent news on the sixth instalment in the GTA mainline franchise.

Aside from one trailer, we’ve been kept guessing for many months, but hopefully we’ll hear more very soon.
