3 Must-play games on PlayStation Plus for March

You simply have to play these games

Every month, PlayStation Plus drops a bunch of new games to play and this next line-up features a mix of action fighters, sports games, plus a perfect tribute to Manga creator Akira Toriyama.

PlayStation has announced the new games we’ll be seeing on PlayStation Plus for March, and we’ve picked three games you absolutely cannot miss out on. You can check out the full list for additions to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus and the Premium tier.

Resident Evil 3 is a top-tier remake and stellar survival horror.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

As a perfectly timed tribute to the late Akira Toriyama, why not try out the game that tells the story of Dragon Ball Z? With gorgeous visuals based directly on Toriyama’s best-selling manga, you play as Goku and revisit some of the brilliant storylines and live out iconic battles against foes such as Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell. It’s a lighthearted RPG that doesn’t take itself too seriously and aims to deliver the trademark humour and action-packed set pieces of the anime many of us grew up with.

Resident Evil 3

If horror is your thing, then you have one of the best Capcom horror games to scare the pants off you. Resident Evil 3 is a remake of the game of the same name from 1999. Not only have the visuals been completely overhauled, but new elements were introduced within the gameplay mechanics, making this feel like a brand-new game. Take control of Jill Valentine as she attempts to uncover more of Umbrella’s fiendish plans while the hulking Nemesis monster pursues her through the streets of Racoon City.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns

One of the best games from 2022, Marvel’s Midnight Suns takes the Marvel heroes we know and love on a tactical adventure bolstered by a brilliant story. Riffing off the tactical combat we usually see in games like X-COM, this action-packed title brings together heroes such as Iron Man, Wolverine, and Ghost Rider. Between battles, you can explore environments together, get to know your team, and deepen the bonds they create. It’s a very different take on traditional superhero games, and one that wowed fans and critics alike.
