To celebrate the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport, Microsoft has released a new Dynamic Background for all Xbox Series X/S owners.

With Forza Motorsport set to release on 10 October, Microsoft are giving players the chance to customise their Xbox dashboards to celebrate. Dynamic Backgrounds, which are usually released just in time for big releases such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Redfall are animated images that can be used to personalise your Xbox dashboards. Its most recent addition is perfect for Forza fans or just fans of cars in general and is available to use now.

Check out the Forza Motorsport trailer below!

The Forza Motorsport Dynamic Background features two of the game’s cars (I’m not a car person so don’t ask me what they are) on a track with the dynamic features showing a glowing light and light orb travelling across the bottom of the screen. It’s not the most dynamic but it’s something. If you wish to use it for yourself, head into the Settings menu and find ‘Personalisation’, ‘My Background’ and then ‘Dynamic Backgrounds’. The Forza one should be pretty easy to spot.

With Forza Motorsport set to go into early access at midnight on 5 October, fans are gearing up for the latest racing game by Turn 10 Studios. After the most recent instalment launched in 2017 for Xbox One, it has been a long wait, but our review called it a “near-perfect racer that’s worth its weight in gold.”

“Despite the requirement of having to participate in practice sessions, Forza Motorsport is a near-perfect racer that’s worth its weight in gold,” wrote our very own Richard Breslin. “It takes advantage of the capabilities of the Xbox Series X and then some, pushing the boundaries of what’s expected of the modern console racing sim. If you’re a PC gamer or owner of an Xbox Series X/S and a racing fan, Forza Motorsport is a must-own for fans of the genre.”
