You did it, everyone. You made it to the weekend and to celebrate, Xbox is hosting yet another edition of Free Play Days.
As always, a small selection of games has been made free just for the weekend; three of the titles on offer require a Game Pass subscription to any tier, while one game is free for everyone.
We’ll begin with that latter option, as Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for all Xbox users to try for free from now until the end of Sunday 3 May.
Developed by Arc System Works, this 2018 fighter is based on the popular Dragon Ball anime series and allows players to fight as a wide array of beloved characters.

You can select from ranked matches, six-player party matches, and more.
The game even introduced Android 21, a new character whose creation was overseen by the legendary Akira Toriyama, and sits at an 87 rating on Metacritic.
With Free Play Days, there are no barriers to your progression. You can play Dragon Ball FighterZ all weekend long but if you want to continue playing past Sunday, that’s when you’ll need to purchase the game.
It is, however, currently on offer for $8.99 instead of $59.99, correct at the time of writing. Pricing will vary by region.
All Xbox Game Pass users can additionally access three more free games.
Railway Empire 2 and NBA Bounce are, like Dragon Ball FighterZ, available to enjoy until the end of Sunday 3 May.
Railway Empire 2 is from Gaming Minds Studios and first landed in 2023.
It sees you assume control of a railway company in the early 1800s. It’s up to you to boost the fortunes of the company, extending your routes and outsmarting competitors.
You can bag it for $24.99 instead of $49.99 if Railway Empire 2 gets its tenterhooks in you.
NBA Bounce is quite obviously basketball-based, but in a very accessible way.
Created by Unfinished Pixel, players take control of a cartoonish team, composed of both players and mascots, across a series of fun modes.
For example, in ‘Ball Pop’, the ball becomes explosive, so you’ll want to score regular points without being in possession of the ball when it goes BAM.
That’s just one mere example with plenty of variety on offer in NBA Bounce. The full version is down to $15.99 instead of $19.99.
Finally, Game Pass users can try Predator: Hunting Grounds from IllFonic.

This one is uniquely available slightly longer, with access expiring at close of play on 4 May.
In this shooter, players take on one of cinema’s most iconic creatures, the Predator. “As part of a Fireteam, complete missions before the Predator finds you. Or be the Predator and hunt your prey,” the synopsis teases.
The full game is on sale for just $5.99 right now instead of $19.99 - and it could be the perfect play amid the hype for Alien: Isolation 2. The two beings share a rich cinematic history.
As you only have mere days to get involved in Free Play Days, there’s no time to waste.
