Without any warning, one beloved puzzle game series has been delisted from the Microsoft Store and it seems as though even the MCU is under the chopping block.
Over the past few days, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Marvel Puzzle Quest has been delisted from both the Xbox and PlayStation Stores alongside three further titles in the Puzzle Quest franchise.
First released back in 2013, Marvel Puzzle Quest was a beloved entry in the long-running puzzle series and of course, was yet another way for Marvel fans to play as some of their favourite superheroes.
However, it seems as though that will not be possible anymore as it seems as though a problem with the publisher has led to their removal.

This comes just weeks after the release of Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition as the latest instalment in the Puzzle Quest franchise arrived on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on 18 September.
Although this is still available, four other Puzzle Quests have since been delisted: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, Puzzle Quest 2, and Puzzle Quest Galactrix.
What is even more surprising is that Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign has been a popular puzzle game since its release on both Steam, iOS, and Android and with no explanation from its publisher, fans are left feeling disappointed and confused.
The publisher, D3 Publisher, was acquired by 505 Games back in 2022 and since then, Puzzle Quest 3 and Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition have been released.

Surprisingly, these are the only two Puzzle Quest titles still available to purchase on the online stores so it seems as though it is only the entries published by D3 Publisher that have run into an issue.
As for Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, many fans originally thought that its removal was due to Marvel’s strict licensing laws but this does not seem to be the case either so it really is a mystery.
Luckily, if you already own any of the four entries affected, they are still yours to keep but users will no longer be able to purchase them from here on out.
However, the story does not end here as one user over on r/xbox reveals that another batch of games have been delisted from the Xbox Store. This includes:
- Beacon of Neyda Demo
- Galaxy of Pen & Paper +1 Edition
- Outbreak: Hearts of Gold Collection (items in bundle still appear to be available)
- Shmups Collection (bundle of Super Rebellion, X-Force Genesis and X-Force Under Attack)
- Super Rebellion
- Truck Driver + Hidden Places & Damage System DLC Bundle (items in bundle still appear to be available, replaced with Truck Driver Gold Edition)
- X-Force Genesis (Windows stack still available)
- X-Force Under Attack
- X-Pack (bundle of X-Force Genesis and X-Force Under Attack)
It is currently unclear as to if this mass delisting is due to an issue on the Xbox Store or something else entirely but for now, we are left in the dark.
