Uncharted returns in surprise DLC you can download now

Naughty Dog has surprised fans with a big new update over on social media which does not only appeal to The Last of Us fans but also those who are quite fond of a certain adventurer.

Today saw Naughty Dog take to its official Twitter account to reveal that The Last of Us Part II can be experienced in a whole new way thanks to its Chronological Mode.

This will allow players to experience The Last of Us Part II in a rearranged version which will let you play the story in chronological order rather than having to jump between Ellie and Abby’s individual storylines over the course of three days.

“Experience The Last of Us Part II in a whole new way with Chronological mode, a rearranged version of the game that lets you play the story in chronological order,” the official Tweet reads.

“Available now with The Last of Us Part II Remastered via Patch v2.1.0 (PS5)*† and Patch v1.5 (PC)”.

So what does this mean for Uncharted fans you may ask?

Well, alongside this brand-new mode for TLOU 2, the hit Naughty Dog game will also allow you to dress up Joel and his brother Tommy as two very familiar figures.

None other than Nathan and Sam Drake from the Uncharted series.

“And we also wanted to reward players for jumping into this new, transformative approach to our story”, the official blog post reads.

“In addition to new trophies tied to completing the narrative experience in chronological order, doing so will also unlock two new, perhaps surprisingly familiar skins…”

For the first time ever, Joel and Tommy can dress as Nathan Drake and Sam Drake respectively in No Return.

This is the perfect way to celebrate Naughty Dog’s 40th anniversary by bringing two of its most beloved franchises together.

To unlock the skins, players will have to complete the narrative in the new Chronological Mode and they will then become available in No Return, Part II Remastered’s thrilling roguelike survival mode.
