The Witcher is generally one of those universally adored franchises. I’m sure they exist, but I personally have yet to meet anyone with a bad word to say about the books and video games, but things start to get a little stickier when we’re talking about Netflix’s TV series The Witcher.

The second season wasn't as good as the first, but it’s easy to forgive the show when everyone’s favourite famous nerd Henry Cavill is portraying Geralt of Rivia. There’s more on the way as Netflix are already mapping out the fourth season but one UFC fighter has torn into the show, making it abundantly clear that he’s not a fan. I’m talking about Jan Blachowicz.

We think Ciri deserves her own game. Take a look at all of the reasons why below.

Shared by Reddit user UptownHorrorReviews, the UFC champion recently shared his thoughts on Netflix’s The Witcher during a press conference, which appeared to take place following a fight. A reporter noticed that Blachowicz was wearing a Witcher medallion and proceeded to ask the UFC fighter if he was a fan of the franchise and for the most part, he is.

Sharing which elements of The Witcher franchise he’s a fan of, Blachowicz said, “Game and books. I don’t like the Netflix show.” When the reporter told Blachowicz that it was a good answer, the fighter jested “I know.” Oof. There’s certainly no changing his opinion.

Fans of The Witcher soon came running from every corner of the internet after the clip gained traction on the /witcher subreddit, and they all shared the same belief. Belmalreal said, “One of the Chaddest Chads that guy,” whilst OkShoulder509 wrote, “Lmao. What a Chad.”

It’s not the first time that Blachowicz has shown his love for The Witcher. He once walked out during an MMA fight to a battle song from The Witcher 3, and he reportedly also owns a Witcher sword. Just don’t bring up the show. He’s clearly not a fan.
