Fancy playing an unreleased Star Wars game? Sorry, I’m not talking about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, although that is coming soon too. Ubisoft are looking for playtesters for their upcoming story-driven, open-world Star Wars game.

I’ve mentioned a couple above, but there really are heaps of Star Wars projects in the pipeline. Uncharted creator Amy Hennig is working on something, plus there’s Quantic Dream’s Star Wars: Eclipse and Saber Interactive’s Knights Of The Old Republic Remake - and that’s just to name a few. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the next title to launch on 17 March, and the gameplay looks like a major step-up from its predecessor. You could have your hands on Ubisoft’s baby even sooner though.

Check out the latest trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor below.

Taking to Twitter, Massive Entertainment announced their search for playtesters. There’s only one catch. You have to live near the studio and the studio is located in Malmö, Sweden. If you’re interested in getting involved, all you need to do is sign up your interest online. Those who are selected as playtesters will be paid for their time plus receive a free lunch, drinks and snacks. It sounds like a nice little gig to me.

Massive Entertainment’s game was first announced back in 2021 and we know very little other than the aforementioned fact that it’s said to be story-driven and set in an open-world. The title is being developed in Snowdrop Engine, which is being used for fellow Ubisoft project Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

We are looking for playtesters for the Star Wars Project! If you live near Malmö, we would love for you to sign up. 🎮👉 https://t.co/rSw5iQvhXV pic.twitter.com/JdLsAIhAnu

Hungry for more Star Wars? Xbox Game Pass subscribers can currently get LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for ‘free’ (It’s included in your subscription). If you haven’t yet downloaded the title, you really should. I spent all weekend hunting for Kyber Crystals and I have no regrets. We’re also mere months away from the new season of The Mandalorian too. What a time.
