Ubisoft Reveals Assassin's Creed Mirage Free Game Giveaway

Ubisoft is giving away free copies of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, but you need to act fast to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

In 2023, we were treated to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a game that started as an expansion to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, before Ubisoft morphed it into a standalone game, starring Basim ibn Ishaq, an intriguing character that we were introduced to in the 2020 release.

“Become a deadly Master Assassin in this action-adventure game. Explore the streets of ninth-century Baghdad through the eyes of Basim. Take down your targets while seeking justice as part of the Hidden Ones,” reads the synopsis of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage free expansion is out

From 2pm local time on Tuesday (18 November), the highly anticipated free expansion for Assassin’s Creed Mirage arrives with ‘Valley of Memory’. In this new content, Basim explores the northwestern region of Saudi Arabia, more specifically, AlUla, located in Wadi AlQura.

The free update, which will download and install when you fire up Assassin’s Creed Mirage, also improves Basim’s parkour and combat skills, as well as adding new weapons, gear and more.

It’s too early to tell now how long it will take to finish the ‘Valley of Memory’ quests, but given that it’s free content, I’m not complaining. That being said, a solid few hours would be perfect.

In celebration of ‘Valley of Memory’ arriving today, Ubisoft is giving away six free digital copies of Assassin’s Creed Mirage across all available platforms.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of bagging a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is to like this tweet from the official Twitter account for the series and comment with your platform of choice, should you win.

The competition will close on 21 November 2025. So it might be best to enter now, just in case you’re like me and will most likely forget.

It’s also worth keeping in mind that a lot of Assassin’s Creed fans will be entering this competition, so there’s only a small chance of winning. But as they say, “you’ve got to be in it to win it.” Good luck!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The ‘Valley of Memory’ expansion is free to all those who own the game.
