The Boys season 5 first official teaser promises outrageous first episode

Talk about explosive...!

If there’s one thing The Boys always does well, it’s outrageous entertainment.

Even if you don’t enjoy one particular episode, some kind of mayhem will have you staring at the screen wondering what the hell you just watched.

One star of the show has already teased an “explosive” finale befitting the show, and now that the first official teaser has been revealed, it certainly seems to align with that claim.

Let's remind ourselves of what's led up to this thrilling final season

Shared by Discussing Film on Twitter, the first episode of season five is titled ‘Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite’.

I fail to believe anyone will read that and not allow their eyebrows to waggle a little bit.

Thankfully, The Boys fandom hasn’t let us down in that department.

They see this opening episode for what it is: ready to go “full throttle”.

As user @harvv remarked, “We’re about to get another insane opening episode.”

“Very fitting title for The Boys,” commented @JUchiha909.

There are plenty more comments I could share, and a fair few that I really shouldn’t because Twitter is being extremely horny about where this dynamite should go.

Putting aside the posts about this latest teaser, the fandom is divided when it comes to their feelings about the show’s end.

Not to sound like Rafiki, but many believe it is time, while others think there’s at least a “couple more seasons” left in the series.

Whatever your opinions on the matter, controversy is sure to be a significant part of this final season.

With controversial deaths already confirmed, the end isn’t just nigh, it’s bloody too.

Unfortunately, we’ve got until 2026 to wait and see who dies, as well as figure out where these 15 inches of dynamite is headed.

We doubt it’s anywhere pleasant, but it’ll definitely be outrageous.
