Star Wars: The Acolyte's Best Character Teases Their Return

Bring him back!

One of Star Wars: The Acolyte’s most beloved cast members has spoken about their return to the franchise, one year on from the show’s cancellation.

Okay, so it wasn’t perfect, but we enjoyed the first season of The Acolyte when it aired in 2024, and we’re pretty sad we won’t get to see a second season.

We’re still left with some big questions following that season finale, and probably won’t get answers to them any time soon. That’s unless the story is continued in a novel, or something.

Star Wars fans may be happy to learn that one of the most popular cast members from the show has just revealed that they’d be up for coming back, should the stars align.

In an interview with Comic Book while promoting Freakier Friday, Qimir actor Manny Jacinto revealed that he “would love to [return].”

Jacinto added: “I love that character, that franchise, that team. We’ll put it out there. Star Wars is a big universe, galaxy, what have you. But if the fans want it, I’m down and ready to go.”

While The Acolyte was on-air, Qimir proved to be one of the most popular characters on the show due to Jacinto’s charisma making him charming, sympathetic, but also a credible threat.

To this date he stands out as one of the more interesting villains that Star Wars has ever had.

It’s a shame we won’t see him come back in future installments of The Acolyte though.

Still, it sounds like Jacinto is keen to return to Star Wars in the future.

Hopefully Disney and Lucasfilm are taking notes, and can be ready to bring him back to the galaxy far, far away when the opportunity arises.

In the meantime, you can watch Manny Jacinto along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Mark Harmon, and Chad Michael Murray in Freakier Friday, which opens in cinemas tomorrow, 8th August.
