Star Wars new The Last Jedi sequel is a hit with fans already

The latest issue of Star Wars: Legacy of Vader is out now and fans are thrilled with the events that take place, expanding not only the history of Darth Vader, but the character of Kylo Ren.

Issue three of the Star Wars comic hasn’t been out long, and fans have flocked to Reddit to sing its praises, with one fan giving it a 9/10.

This comes from a fan called Erdan5 who said, “This series is going great so far! Ready to hop into Naboo! I will give this issue a 9/10.”

In this story, Kylo Ren is retracing the steps of his grandfather in the hope of gaining more power and perspective, however, he finds himself battling against the Hutts in this issue, with his back against the wall.

As Kylo Ren moves through the places Vader travelled, we’ve seen him spiral further into his darker thoughts and emotions, taking out his anger on anyone and everyone possible.

One fan exclaims, “Yet another excellent issue! If this series maintains it's current momentum then I'll confidently say it's one of the best Star Wars comics of all time!”

Another says, “Cool issue. Are there more Kylo and Vader interactions in canon? I really like the take on Vader ignoring his grandson, Kylo having to find his own way.”

It seems that while Kylo wants to connect more with his Sith idol, he’s learning all the wrong lessons and only digging himself into a deeper hole of self-pity and hatred.

Now fans are eager to see where the story goes next, with one speculating, “Can't wait to see where this is going - Naboo is next and obviously Vanee will tell Kylo about Padmé.”

The new series is proving to be a hit with fans, and those looking to delve into one of the best characters from the modern trilogy are in for a treat.
