Everybody’s favourite Jedi is set to make a return in a brand-new series and fans are eager to get stuck in.
It has been a while since we last saw Luke Skywalker but with a new era of Star Wars storytelling on the horizon, it seems the skilled Jedi is set to make a return.

This comes as part of an upcoming three-part series beginning with Star Wars: Battle of Jakku — Republic Under Siege #1.
It will later be joined by Insurgency Rising in October and a second four-issue miniseries, Republic Under Siege in November.
The Republic Under Siege series has had its first volume uncovered by Marvel and we now know that they will be written by Alex Segura with Stefano Raffaele and Jethro Morales heading up the art side of things.
Not only have we received our first look at the series’ cover art but we now have the official synopsis for Battle of Jakku — Republic Under Siege #1.

With this first volume set to cover the events of the historial Battle of Jakku, it is set to be an exciting time and a brand-new adventure for Luke and friends.
Luckily, fans won’t have long to wait either as Star Wars: Battle of Jakku — Republic Under Siege #1 hits shelves on 20 November.
