Star Wars fans delighted as Luke, Leia and Han finally reunite

They say the best things come in threes and that is definitely the case for this Star Wars trio as they are set to reunite in an epic new release.

Everybody’s favourite Star Wars trio is back - and this time, Luke, Leia, and Han will come together for the final reckoning of the resistance.

Luke, Leia, and Han first appeared way back in 1977 with the arrival of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope and were last seen during the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, albeit not together.

Although the Star Wars universe has gone on to explore many other timelines, stories, and characters, the galactic trio consisting of Carrie Fisher’s Leia, Mark Hamill’s Luke, and Harrison Ford’s Han remains iconic so it is no surprise that fans are excited to see them reunite once more.

Courtesy of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation (2025) #4, readers will get to dive into the comic book version of this epic film.

Released on 28 May, the comic was written by Jody Houser with art from Will Sliney and Phil Noto.

The synopsis for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation (2025) #4 reads as follows: “THE FINAL RECKONING OF THE RESISTANCE! Rey and Kylo Ren's years-in-the-making showdown reaches its devastating conclusion! A shocking death sends ripples across the galaxy! As the resistance faces their lowest moment, who can they turn to for hope?”

This is the fourth part in an ongoing series and its fifth instalment will be released on 11 June so you have just enough time to catch up.

“Of all the covers Phil Noto has done for this limited series, this is probably my favourite,” one user said over on r/starwarscomics.

“Seeing the big three on the cover together when they weren’t together onscreen is a nice touch.”

Another user is already quite the fan.

“Wow I loved this issue,” they shared, “but that's not surprising given it's my favourite part of the film lol. It's a culmination of the emotional core of the story, and contains much of what pulls me in.”

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation (2025) #4 is available in all major book stores now.
