Star Wars fans have united over the prospect of a brand new spin-off featuring one of the most deadly assassins in the galaxy, far, far away.

The Star Wars galaxy is huge, and I’m not just talking about its sheer size, but also about its vast and diverse characters all waiting for their epic stories to be told.

Whether it’s a Jedi or Sith, a skilled pilot of the rebellion or an unsuspecting droid, Star Wars is never short of tales yet to be explored.

One such character is the former Dathomirian Nightsister turned dark acolyte and deadly assassin, Asajj Ventress. This charismatic character has featured in several Star Wars animations such as The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, and more recently, Tales from the Underworld.

Asajj Ventress was a standout character in the Disney Plus series, Tales of the Underworld, and now fans want more, and it looks like that wish might be granted. “This would be so awesome if it happened,” declared Redditor OkuroIshimoto.

In a recent interview on StarWars.com, when discussing a potential return of Asajj Ventress, the actress who plays the character in Tales of the Underworld, Nika Futterman, said: “Let’s do it, baby. It seems that everybody loves her and wants more.”

While it’s not mentioned how the character could return, whether it’s in another animation or even a live-action production, fans are excited nonetheless.

“The book about her and Quinlan would be a cool story to tell, or even just continuing where we left off with Tales of the Underworld,” suggested teaabearr.

“Bounty Hunter Ventress is a show I’ve always needed,” said 3pacalypsenow.

“Dark disciple in Clone Wars animation style would be awesome,” replied stangAce20.

We’ll just have to wait and see whether we’ll see Asajj Ventress in the world of Star Wars once more, but I have a feeling that might just happen.
