Star Wars fans hail perfect 'new trilogy'

It's pretty good

Star Wars fans are in love with a new trilogy that’s formed, that somehow makes the original trilogy even better.

If you’ve been watching Andor Season 2 you’ll no doubt be sad to see that it’s over, but happy to see it finally link into Star Wars: Rogue One to form a completed story.

Andor is genuinely some of the best Star Wars content there’s ever been, and it will be sorely missed.

When you watch the first two seasons of Andor, then Star Wars: Rogue One, and then Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, you get a beautiful trilogy that surpasses everything else Disney has done with the IP so far.

Fans couldn't agree more either, and have shared their thoughts online now that Andor Season 2 has concluded.

“A new Star Wars trilogy has been born,” read one tweet, with comments hailing Andor and Rogue One as “the prequels we needed”.

“This new Star Wars trilogy is the best to date. Star Wars will never be this good again,” read another.

Others also suggested that watching Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith beforehand is also a good shout, which I’d agree with.

It’s a shame so much of this is undone in the Disney sequels though, as the war between the Rebels and The Empire ends on such a high note only to have The First Order rise years later, and there’s still no good explanation as to how it happened.

This is felt even more so in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise Of Skywalker when “somehow Palpatine returned”, completely ruining everything that had been achieved up to that moment.

Hopefully, the new trilogy Disney is planning is better; the true test will be seeing whether it’s been planned out beforehand or made up as it goes along.
