It appears that Disney will be finally giving Anakin Skywalker a chance to shine in an upcoming series on Disney Plus.
Hayden Christensen has been in London for several months while he shoots a variety of scenes for season two of Ahsoka, hinting that his involvement is more extensive than his last Star Wars outing.
At the time of release, the prequel trilogy didn’t paint Christensen in a great light; a poor script made him seem like an equally poor actor, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
Many fans shunned the actor for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker, not believing that this whiny teenager could end up becoming Darth Vader.

However, in recent years, fans have come to see that his performance was stymied by Lucas’ writing, and an outpouring of love overwhelmed Christensen.
This love, and his connection to the character of Ahsoka, built up in the animated show, The Clone Wars, saw him return to the Star Wars universe as Anakin.
Now, it seems that he will appear on-screen in more than the few scenes from season one, with the actor extensively shooting for the show.
It has been reported that Christensen had to pull out of several Comic Con appearances this summer due to his filming commitments on Ahsoka.

The actor had to step away from Manchester Comic Con and Spacecon San Diego in order to stay in London, hinting that he will have a much bigger role in Ahsoka’s journey.
This comes as no surprise, as Anakin appeared to Ahsoka as a Force ghost in season one, continuing his teachings as her master, so we could see him accompany her on her mission to defeat Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Fans will be thrilled to see Anakin take on a bigger role and stay pivotal to the galaxy.
