OG Pokémon theme tune hailed as greatest in anime history

Fans are arguing that the original Pokémon theme tune is the greatest in anime history - and I fully agree. It is a certified banger.

Regardless of whether you’re a true Pokémon master or the most casual of fans, ‘I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was,’ is probably already on a loop in your head. TO CATCH THEM IS MY REAL TEST, TO TRAIN EM’ IS MY CAUSE. Sorry, I’m not sure what came over me then. This tune is just too dang catchy. It isn’t simply catchy though. Fans gathered on social media to explain just how much comfort it’s brought them over the years.

Bloodypainter96 commented, “When I was younger, I used to watch Pokémon on TV every night and always scream the song.” Very relatable. I’ll never hear this song and not sing along. It’s like the song equivalent of a warm hug.
