The big bad of The Multiverse Saga was supposed to be Kang the Conqueror, but that is now in the rearview mirror after controversy forced Marvel to switch lanes.
Instead, we’ve got Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom, which will kick off with Avengers: DOOMSDAY, currently filming around the world.
However, a leak has emerged that details a recasting option for Kang, leaving Jonathan Majors as a distant memory, and instead ushering in another actor to carry on the legacy of the character.

On the latest episode of The Hot Mic, it was revealed that Marvel wants to wrap up the Kang storyline properly by using actor Tramell Tillman to fill the role.
Now, if you’ve read my features in the past, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of Tillman, particularly in Severance, where he plays the sinister and unsettling Seth Milchick.
I’m not the only one, as when news of this potential spoiler reached Reddit, the fans there were overjoyed.
“The amount of pleasant menace he would bring to the role…” commented Wiseash.

In reply to this, another Severance fan said, “This guy has stolen the show, Severance, in my opinion. He’s great.”
Of course, this is simply a rumour, and it could be entirely fake, but it does seem like dream casting, and Tillman would bring a new level of unnerving threat to the MCU.
“The dead, lifeless eyes and that huge smile. I hate [Seth Milchick] so much because it's so well acted. He's great, and I hope to see him in more stuff,” replied FluffiestRhino.
Perhaps we will see Kang make a return in a movie soon, even if it’s just to die at the hands of Doctor Doom and put a proper ending on that storyline.

Though, if Tillman does take on the role, I’d love to see him stretch his legs as a new Marvel evil.
