MCU’s leaked Kang Dynasty plot torn apart by fans, and we can see why

No wonder it was replaced with Doomsday

Marvel’s next major crossover is Avengers: Doomsday, but it was originally supposed to be Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

If this leaked script is anything to go off though, it’s a good thing the latter film never went ahead as this sounds terrible.

The leaked script was reportedly found online and picked apart by various Marvel influencers and fans, with its legitimacy shaky at best.

It featured the world being destroyed by Kang and his army of…Kang, with our heroes failing to prevent the coming cataclysm despite their best efforts.

New characters would have been introduced, namely Miles Morales aka Spider-Man, and it would have seen Sam Wilson leading the Avengers.

When you really dig into it though, it seems very much fake as some characters who were confirmed to appear such as Namor and the Thunderbolts aren’t mentioned anywhere in the leaked script.

Fake or not, fans who’ve read it hate it, with one on Reddit user saying it “ sounds terrible”, adding that “they seriously wrote a scene of the Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Eiffel Tower, and Hollywood sign being destroyed? No way. That's way too cliche, even for Marvel.”

“AI could do this in a glimpse,” said another, “There are characters in there like Miles with zero chance of being in a movie this early, fake as f.”

Another said, “I am required to work a lot with AI and while I don't think this was written solely with AI, there is some dialogue that really, really sets off my internal AI alarm. Particularly between Miles and Peter in the very beginning.”

The comments said it best, it sounds terrible, and if it was an actual script at one point, it’s a good thing plans changed to make Doctor Doom the villain instead.

That said Doctor Doom being the new antagonist has brought its own form of controversies, mainly Robert Downey Jr returning to play the role.
