MCU fans lose it over new trailer for final chapter in epic trilogy

What If... it didn't have to end though?

Marvel fans are excited to see the thrilling conclusion to one of the best Disney+ shows so far, and it’s going out with a bang.

There’s a lot to be excited about as Marvel Studios continues its voyage through the multiverse, and it’ll all come to a head when the next two Avengers films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars drop in the coming years.

First though we need to see Sam Wilson’s latest adventure as Captain America, where he’ll do battle against the menacing new Red Hulk

Arguably the best piece of multiversal fiction we’ve received so far is Marvel’s What If?.. a collection of stories featuring characters we know and love but how they would have been if they went down a different path.

Season 3 of the show will soon debut on Disney+, marking an end to the trilogy that started back in 2021.

The thrilling final season will give us stories like Bucky Barnes teaming up with the Red Guardian, Storm wielding the power of Mjolnir, and even the Avengers assembling into a Power Rangers-style Megazord.

It’s looking increasingly wacky with every piece of new marketing for it, though it does sting a bit that we won’t be getting another story with Spider-Man.

Reacting to the latest trailer fans shared their admiration for the series, saying “this was one of my favorites projects pos-endgame. I still don't know why they’re ending it. This could go for ages.”

Another added “Loved the first two seasons. Stoked to see season 3!” and one fan even said “8 days of new episodes sounds like the perfect way to finish it off!”

Marvel’s What If?.. Season 3 will drop on 22 December, with a new episode dropping every day until all eight episodes are available to stream, you won’t want to miss it.
