If you’re a fan of comic book art, you’re going to want to keep an eye on Marvel’s mysterious new project.

Book publisher Clover Press recently took to social media to tease the upcoming release.

If you’re not familiar with Clover, they’ve launched a number of art books.

The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev, The Marvel Art of David Mack, The Marvel Art of David Nakayama, and The Marvel Art of Russell Dauterman are some of the instalments already available.

In the company’s latest tweet, they write, “We are launching our next Marvel Art of book very soon! Any guesses who it could be?”

A blurred out cover was attached providing fans with a hint. That being said, a red blurry silhouette isn’t much to go on.

Is this someone who’s worked on Scarlet Witch? Spider-Woman? Deadpool? Daredevil? Mephisto?

Thankfully, that’s far from the only teaser.

ICYMI: The first trailer for Thunderbolts* is available to watch now. Check it out below ahead of the film’s May 2025 release.

A secondary tease features a small segment of Captain America’s shield in a traditional comic book style.

A third teaser then appeared to show fragments of a character donning a red and yellow outfit.

I feel like I should be able to get it from that glimpse, but there are still several options in the fray.

It seems like fans are stumped too. Marco Checchetto and Adam Kubert were raised as possible options but I’m not convinced the subsequent teasers feel like works I’d attribute to either of those artists.

All we can hope is that Clover Press puts us out of our misery soon.

If you’re impatiently waiting like me, you can sign up to be notified as soon as the title is formally announced.

I bet we’ll be kicking ourselves, yelling, “Of course”.
