Marvel star quietly teases Thor 5 right under our noses

We’ve been so distracted by all the other MCU developments that we may have missed an obvious teaser that Thor 5 is coming.

How, you ask?

We failed to take notice of Chris Hemsworth’s TikTok videos.

Thank goodness some fans have been paying attention, otherwise we’d still be in the dark about this one.

Putting our sarcasm aside for the moment, Marvel fans may genuinely have something here by thinking Hemsworth is preparing for the next film.

In a recent TikTok post, Hemsworth shared one of his intense workout sessions. While you may have continued watching just to... ahem... appreciate his physique, many believe the intensity of his exercise regime hints at Thor’s imminent return.

“Thor 5?” is among the most popular comment on said post, as numerous fans made that connection upon seeing Hemsworth give it his all on a sunny beach.

Others remarked on his “dedication” as an actor, drawing no conclusions other than Hemsworth is locked in both mentally and physically.

As for whether Thor 5 is happening, Marvel hasn’t announced it, though the suggestion is there in the background.

Even if an individual Thor film isn’t in the works yet, with two new Avengers films on the way, we'll likely see Hemsworth’s Thor again.

Moreover, there are three secret Marvel projects that have no name yet are very much scheduled for Phase 6. Could one be Thor 5?

Thor: Love and Thunder was hardly a success. In fact, it was the lowest grossing Thor film thus far.

That doesn’t mean Thor won’t return, just that Marvel will have to think long and hard about what direction it wants to take the hero in moving forward.

According to the Economic Times, the next film won’t be directed by Taika Waititi, seemingly in an attempt to right the wrongs of the last film.

Of course, all this speculation could be for naught; Hemsworth could simply be working on his fitness.
