Marvel fans lose it as MCU finally teases the hero we've waited for

Marvel fans rejoice

Marvel fans have been treated to their first, very far away, look at Reed Richards, AKA Mr Fantastic in the upcoming MCU film Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Marvel’s first family is returning to the big screen next year, in what could potentially be the best film the studio has put out if we’re lucky.

You’ll have to watch Captain America: Brave New World first though, the next MCU blockbuster set to grace our screens

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the Fantastic Four in the MCU, as a variant to Mr Fantastic appeared in Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness and Johnny Storm, AKA The Human Torch made a surprise appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Fantastic Four: First Steps will be our true team though, presumably the ones that’ll play an important role in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Recently behind-the-scenes images surfaced online and in one of them we can see Reed Richards and Sue Storm stood by what’ll likely be the the first-appearance of the Fantasticar, the flying vehicle the team uses to get around.

Neither of the characters are wearing their superhero costumes, so this is probably a scene a bit earlier in the film before they get their powers.

Little else is known about the plot of the Fantastic Four film, but we do know the team will be facing off against Galactus of all villains, a bit of a trial by fire for an origin story, and one that’ll seemingly omit Doctor Doom as well.

Many have speculated that a cataclysmic event will occur, forcing the team to leave their universe behind and end up in the mainline MCU universe, but that’s yet to be seen.

Hopefully this film is as good as it looks, as the last Fantastic Four film we got back in 2015 almost killed the IP for good.
