X-Men fans, it’s your time to shine.
Rumour has it that Marvel is bringing back another fan-favourite mutant in the MCU.
The new season of What If...? will reportedly “include the long-anticipated MCU debut for a well-known Marvel character”.
Although the news doesn’t state that it’s an X-Men character, fans believe it will be.

What is more, they think they’ve already guessed who it is.

Storm has a lot of votes on this section of the Marvel Studios Rumours subreddit, however, not every Marvel fan is convinced she’ll feature.
On Twitter, @Rebel0fReality commented, “*Rolls eyes* It’s just Blade. We’re getting a What If Blade before an actual Blade film.”
“Isn’t it just Blade lmao,” remarked @harvv.
As you can see for yourselves, while there’s plenty of people who believe Storm will make her MCU debut in this series, others are doubtful.
Also suggested to appear is Ghost Rider, Doctor Doom, and Captain Carter.
Even without any definite answers, viewers are still hyped about the prospect of this unknown but beloved character joining the series.

We hope the character you’re praying for appears, but should they not, there’s many more series to come as Marvel shifts to Phase 6.
Now that a Marvel boss has confirmed more WandaVision sequels are on the way, there’s no end of debuts that could happen in the coming months and years.
Still, we’d prefer to see Storm or another X-Men character properly introduced into the MCU so that the X-Men reboot can begin.
It is time, and we’ve waited so long.
