One iconic Harry Potter character will be returning to the role after almost 15-years courtesy of a brand-new Broadway show.
Tom Felton, who is most known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie series, will be returning to the role of everybody’s favourite Slytherin.
This is courtesy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a 19-week show which will be appearing on Broadway starting this November.

Felton made the announcement earlier today and will be the first original cast member who will be embarking on the Broadway show.
Taking place 19 years after the final events of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child follows the story of Draco, Harry, Ron and Hermione’s children as they embark on their own magical journey.
“Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Felton revealed.
“Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me, because when I begin performances in ‘Cursed Child’ this fall, I’ll also be the exact age Draco is in the play.”

“It’s surreal to be stepping back into his shoes — and of course his iconic platinum blond hair — and I am thrilled to be able to see his story through and to share it with the greatest fan community in the world,” he continued.
“I look forward to joining this incredible company and being a part of the Broadway community.”
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will mark both the first time that Felton has played Draco since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II hit cinemas in 2011 as well as his Broadway debut.
The show will begin on 11 November 2025 and will run until 22 March 2026 at the Lyric Theatre in New York City.
