After the recent casting of Dumbledore for the HBO adaptation of Harry Potter, fans are now starting to look at who else might join the cast.
While the main trio are being kept under wraps, leaks have been spilling forth, with some high profile names possibly stepping into the Harry Potter wizarding world.

For many fans, it’s going to be hard to watch some of their favourite characters played by a new actor.
Over on Reddit, folks are discussing how good Jason Isaacs was in the role of the evil Lucius Malfoy, and how hard it will be to step into those shoes.
The thread is simply titled, “He did a fantastic job and will be hard to replace.”
The top reply details how good Isaacs was in the role, saying, “I love how much Isaacs loved his character—- Lucius was unforgettable because he truly enjoyed playing the character and understood him. I appreciate the level of intention that went into it and how much he really tried to understand his psyche.”
Redditor Born_Argument9339 had this to say, “He did a great job in the role, but I'm excited to see how the new actor portrays him.”
It’ll be tough for anyone to play these roles as they’ve become iconic over the years, but any new actor will be able to put a new spin on the characters.
“Jason made Lucius iconic,” notes shyboardgame, who continued, “Out of all the adult actors in the films, he's in my top 3.”
Others have a name in mind to play Malfoy when the time comes, as seen in this comment from dwaynejawnson, “I feel like Lee Pace could slot in very naturally.”
