Fallout Officially Returns This December

The wait is almost over

Following the success of its first season back in April of last year, it was not long before Fallout got snapped up for a second season.

Well, it seems as though fans will not have to wait long for more as Prime Video’s Fallout season two will be added to the service this December and to celebrate, its first official poster has been released.

The IGN exclusive poster shows the television series’ most iconic characters such as Ella Purnell’s Lucy, Walter Goggins’ The Ghoul/Cooper Howard, and Aaron Moten’s Maximus.

They are walking in the dust-leaden setting of Fallout alongside a canine companion with a rusted sign showcasing ‘Welcome to New Vegas’ in the background.

Inspired by the events of Bethesda’s beloved Fallout RPG series, its live-action adaptation has taken the world by storm. So much so, that it was renewed for a third season months ahead of season two even being aired.

Not only that but Fallout has already racked up 17 Emmy awards including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Walter Goggins.

Due to the success of the show, millions of new players flocked to the Bethesda video game series with titles such as Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 getting a resurgence over the past year.

However, with Bethesda taking its time with the release of Fallout 5, many fans have complained that it missed a trick by not collaborating with the hit show by launching a brand-new Fallout instalment.

Nevertheless, it seems as though fans are excited for Fallout season two and took to social media to share their thoughts.

“Ain't no way,” one user shared.

“NEW VEGAS!”

“Let’s f**king gooooooo!” Another user added. “The first season was actually really good TV.”

Fallout season two will continue the story of Lucy’s adventures across the wasteland as she and her unlikely companions journey to New Vegas and the Mojave Desert to search for what remains.
