A talented animator has released a trailer for a new Elden Ring production and to put it simply, it’s jaw-dropping.

When Elden Ring was released in 2022 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, it instantly became a hit for famed developer FromSoftware and one of the most critically acclaimed games of that year. This should come as no surprise considering this is the same team that gave us the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

Earlier this year, to maintain the Elden Ring hype, we were treated to its highly anticipated expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree and much like the main game, it was met with rave reviews across the board.

In our review of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, we said: “is a fitting conclusion to FromSoftware’s biggest, and most-successful title to date. It guides the player by the hand into a brand-new world of mystery and intrigue, treats them to some of the most memorable fights in the series.”

In May this year, we got our first tease for a fan-made Elden Ring anime in the form of still images. Then a couple of months later, we were treated to its first short Elden Ring anime teaser trailer, which blew us away.

The Elden Ring anime in question is created by Steins Alter Productions and it looks anything but an independent project. If FromSoftware and Bandai Namco announced this project as its own, we’d think nothing of it, other than being massively impressed.

Now, as reported by Screen Rant, its full teaser trailer (which is translated into multiple languages) has been released and put simply, it’s an absolute work of art. The trailer features popular Elden Ring characters such as Malenia, Maliketh, Miquella, Mohg and Radagon.

The released version of the Elden Ring short movie will run for about five minutes, so hopefully, it will feature content different from the four-minute teaser trailer. That being said, we can’t wait to see it.

The Elden Ring anime is aimed to be released at some point in summer 2025. The Elden Ring video game and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
