Everyone knows that it is no easy task getting your hands on the fabled PlayStation 5. The scarcity of the hardware, caused by the global chip shortage, when coupled with scalpers who are reselling consoles to make a quick profit, has meant many gamers, who want to get their hands on the latest PlayStation console, have only been left with disappointment. Even with Sony and retailers’ best efforts to prevent people from reselling, there are still more consoles available on the second-hand market than there are generally available from stores.

For one man the search is over. After a long time trying to hunt down the console himself, his wife finally managed to secure the rare hardware. However, after such a long search it would be rather anticlimactic if she just gave her husband Sony’s latest console. Instead she and their daughter lead him on a console scavenger hunt, by leaving a trail of clues.
Only the dad doesn’t know what’s in store for him at the end of the rainbow. While his daughter can barely contain her excitement, knowing what’s to come, her dad keeps his cool. He roasts his family for being so bad at giving surprises as they seem more excited than he is by what is to come.
That is until he sees his final prize. Then the only person giving out girly screams of joy is him, as he finally sees why they were so excited. With a reaction as adorable as his, it’s no wonder his family wanted to treat him.
