New images from The Sims spin-off, currently titled 'Project Rene', have been leaked online.
Project Rene was announced way back in 2022 as a spin-off from The Sims 4.
The main 'hook' of this game is that it will allow for solo and multiplayer, with players being able to visit each other's homes in the game.
The idea proved to be a little unpopular, especially as fans believed this was being used in place of a true Sims 5 that would build on the series' legacy.

Following this, Maxis released a statement two years later saying that Project Rene would co-exist with The Sims 4, and that the latter title would continue to get updates.
Since then, it's been pretty quiet in terms of news regarding the upcoming game.
Playtesting has allegedly occurred, but Maxis has remained quiet on when more players will be able to check the game out.
SimsCommunity has apparently now received some leaked images from the game from another party.

The images come via an "anonymous tip", and SimsCommunity encourages taking it with some caution in case the images turn out to be fake.
The first image shows what is described as a "UI splash screen", featuring references to joining a player's game or being able to invite them to your own.
It also features a Sim resembling Rumi from K-Pop Demon Hunters, complete with a purple hairstyle and similar clothes.
The next image cuts together several aspects of gameplay, including a quick look at Rene's 'Create-A-Sim' feature and some of the clothing options available in the game.
This image also features some of the live mode gameplay, showing a Sim called Taylor running around the world filled with other Sims.
The third image is similar to the second, showing the Sim running around another part of the open world with other Sims nearby. These images also show off some of the HUD.
This leak is different from the alleged leaked images of 'Project X', which is thought to be an early iteration of The Sims 5.
These images were later investigated to be faked by AI, though Project X is still rumoured to be on track for a full reveal later on.
Meanwhile, this week sees the release of a new Sims competitor, Paralives.
Developed by an indie studio of the same name, Paralives has been in development since 2019.
The game released into Steam Early Access today with a new trailer also launching, showing off some of the building and live gameplay features it'll have.
Paralives expects to be in early access for "around two years", adding new features, objects, and other content across its lifespan.
