It has been suggested that the first trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI in years could be on the horizon.
I know, we’ve heard similar stories countless times already, ever since The Elder Scrolls VI was first revealed seven years ago at E3 2018. To this day, all we’ve had is a cinematic trailer with a birds-eye view flying over Tamriel and a logo, that’s it.
Some were hoping that Bethesda might drop a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI at last weekend’s Xbox Games Showcase, but alas, that was not to be. Again. We didn't even get a few words spoken about its development progress.

We can only hope that we get an update at some point this year for the next entry in The Elder Scrolls series, if not, we’ll keep our fingers crossed once more for the Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
However, video game journalist Jez Corden believes that something could be cooking behind the scenes at Bethesda Softworks.
As brought to our attention by Redditor HomeMadeShock, when talking recently on Rand al Thor 19’s YouTube channel about the Xbox Games Showcase, Corden said: “I've started hearing rumours about it (The Elder Scrolls VI), which makes me think more people at Microsoft are privy to it, which in turn makes me think there's an internal trailer going around.”
Of course, this is unconfirmed speculation, so we should take it with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility that an alpha trailer (of sorts) is being prepped behind closed doors, ready for its big reveal.

“Don’t give me hope,” pleaded angrypandabotz.“Now tell us that there's an internal Half Life 3 trailer at Valve, please,” requested Astraliguss.
“It would be a good time for it, coming off the heels of Oblivion Remastered. Still, I find it hard to believe it will be released before 2027/28,” replied Space2Bakersfield.
We’ll keep you posted when we hear more news and gossip on The Elder Scrolls VI.
