'Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2' Trailer Promises Massive, Explosive Finale

Keep Steve alive I am begging you

Netflix has dropped the final trailer for Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 ahead of the final pair of episodes hitting the streaming service on July 1.

The last two episodes of Stranger Things 4, which have a total combined runtime of nearly four hours between them, look set to answer plenty of questions we've had since the very first series - and break our hearts along the way.

Take a look below, and drink in that fantastic use of Kate Bush!

While the Stranger Things showrunners obviously aren't giving everything away, fans are bracing themselves for at least a few deaths in the final episodes. Prime candidate? Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) who ended the last episode of Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 with a pretty fatal-looking wound.

"Everybody's always worried about Steve. I love it," Stranger Things showrunner Matt Duffer told TVLine. "We always have to beat Steve up somehow, so certainly the Demobats have done that job pretty well already this season."

While Matt didn't give much away about Steve's future (or lack of it), co-showrunner Ross Duffer was a little more direct.

"It feels wrong to say 'excited', but I'm excited that people are concerned," Ross said. "And they should be concerned going into the final two episodes [of season 4] — for everybody."

Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 isn't the end of the show, though. Netflix has already confirmed that a fifth and final season is in development, although for now let's just focus on the Hawkins gang getting away from Vecna in one piece, yeah? Especially Steve.
