Steam really has become the go-to storefront for cheap, and even free PC games, with thousands to choose from, including everything from major AAA releases to tiny indie gems.
With so many available to choose from, however, it can be difficult to find the ones that will appeal to you, and the ones that stand above their immediate peers in terms of quality.
Fortunately, there are a dedicated few who are constantly on the lookout for new drops, and four fresh offerings have just hit the storefront that should appeal to gamers from across the genre spectrum.
Over on Twitter/X, the user Free Steam Games regularly shares debutants on the platform, with four new games taking their proverbial bow this time around.

Up first is TEMPUS: A Wizard Awakes, a puzzle adventure game in which you play a lonely, retired wizard who finds new purpose in trying to help a crying rock critter try and find his way home. You'll be using your magic for most things, whether that be solving puzzles to allow your twosome to progress, or killing off enemies who seek to stop you. It's an adorable game with Positive reviews at this early stage, so if you're a fan of the genre, it might be one to take a look at.

The Maze: Treasure Hunters is a turn-based tactical game for 2-4 players, where you play as a hunter fighting for treasure.
Each round sees players enter a labyrinth where you'll need to memorise your moves to win and try to anticipate what the other hunters are trying to do.
Purrfect Catch is a cosy fishing game, where you'll upgrade the gear you're using. It's not a normal sim though, and the developer has promised that the game features four dungeons and bosses to defeat, all in search of a mysterious grand prize.
The last game available this time around, and our pick for the most immediately interesting of the bunch, is The Last Elixir. The game follows the player as a journeyman alchemist, running a shop where a series of increasingly weird customers come in for their elixirs, potions and ointments.
The art style is a real standout and there are some pretty deep potion brewing mechanics that should keep players locked in for hours.
All of the above are available to download for free right now, so just head over to Steam if any take your fancy.
