Starfield launch times confirm you can play earlier than 1 September

An early launch

If you simply can't wait to take your protein pills and put your helmet on in space exploration sim Starfield on 1 September we've got some great news for you: turns out the game will be launching even earlier in some territories.

Bethesda’s first open-world RPG in years, Starfield, is one of the most-anticipated video games of the decade. It could very easily be a Game Of The Year contender, and early impressions seem to suggest we can relax as far as bugs and performance issues at launch are concerned.

Take a look at Starfield in action below!

So as I'm sure you know, Starfield will launch worldwide 6 September, or you can play it 1 September if you pre-ordered and got early access. But, as it turns out, some of you lucky monkeys will be able to start exploring on 31 August.

Bethesda recently confirmed the specific launch times for Starfield, and it actually works out as the end of August for our mates in America. Those of you in the Pacific time zone can start playing from 5pm on 31 August, while Eastern dwellers can start from 8pm that day. Meanwhile, those of us in the UK will have to wait up till 1am on 1 September, and Europe will need to keep it together until 2am. All clear? Good.

Since we're now mere days away from Starfield's launch, perhaps now would be a good time to go ahead and get the game pre-downloaded. After all, you don't want to wake up at 1am to play and realise you still need to install over 100GB of game. Nobody needs that kind of hassle.

GAMINGbible will have a review for you next week, so be sure to tune in and have a calm and measured discussion about the game with us.
