Oh, if only we could have this
For years, many of us have wanted a good Star Wars RPG. We’ve had some great ones in the past, but they were so long ago that just thinking about them makes my back ache.
Despite fan petitions and a lot of pleading, the closest we’ve come recently is the Ubisoft release, Star Wars Outlaws, which got close, but not enough.
For now, we’ll have to make do with this Starfield mod that overhauls the visuals, implements new features, and brings Star Wars to the game.
That’s right, this is a Starfield mod, and it doesn’t look anything like the Bethesda game any more.

Over on Reddit, one fan is heaping compliments onto the mod, delving into why they love it so much, and how it shows that we’re overdue a Star Wars RPG.
In their thread, they say, “Starfield with Star Wars Genesis mods is the Star Wars Game we all deserve. I seriously am in love with the game now.”
Further into their explanation, they detail, “The mod thought of everything, changing factions to represent the Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire, the Shadow Collective, Crimson Dawn, and so much more from the SW universe.”
It certainly looks impressive from the user’s screenshots, and it’s a shame that this can only be experience through mods, rather than an official game.
Conversation soon moved to other mods that relish in the Star Wars lore, with one Redditor pointing out, “If you have Morrowind you should check out the Starwind mod. It's a total conversion mod that adds a lot of planets from KOTOR 1+2.”
One user is both excited and disappointed, saying, “What a shame it’s PC only. Looks so fantastic. May have to kick my son off the gaming PC for a bit to give it a run.”
Here’s hoping the mod expands over time and adds even more.
