We may be currently experiencing the very long wait for The Elder Scrolls VI but in the meantime, fans of Skyrim can rediscover the hype thanks to this new release.

It has become something of a meme in the gaming community that The Elder Scrolls VI may not actually arrive in our lifetime.

Check out the official trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim below!

It has been six years since Bethesda announced the project alongside a short teaser trailer but since then, it has remained pretty tight-lipped about its progress.

With The Elder Scrolls VI becoming a distant dream, it is no wonder that TES fans are turning back to the classics.

More specifically, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Not only that, but thanks to a recent release, the hype surrounding the award-winning RPG is back in full swing.

The release comes to us courtesy of Mattel which has recently revealed its first Skyrim Mega set.

Players can experience Alduin the World Eater in all his glory thanks to this set which consists of 619 pieces, a 25-inch wingspan and even a mini figure of your Dragonborn.

Thanks to the ongoing collaboration between Xbox and Mattel, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the next game to be immortalised.

This follows from its Halo and Fallout sets which have been released previously.

Mattel’s Alduin the World Eater was released earlier this week on Amazon for the retail price of $49.99 which is pretty respectable.

However, it wasn’t long before it sold out.

Luckily, it appears as though there will be more stock as potential buyers can opt-in for an email when they become available again.

This may not be The Elder Scrolls VI that we hoped for but hey, at least it is something to make the wait slightly easier.

Also, who can say no to an epic looking dragon on their shelf?
