The third episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is raising eyebrows for its post-credits scene, involving Jennifer Walters and Megan Thee Stallion twerking to celebrate the rapper becoming the lawyer's latest client.
Nooo, my Marvel Cinematic Universe can't have comedy! A show about a woman navigating her newly acquired superpowers as well as balancing her professional life and battling all of the unwanted attention she's getting! That's what I would say if I was one of the weirdo 30-year-old dudes review-bombing She-Hulk on IMDB.
Take a look at the trailer for the show here!
Fortunately for everyone, I am not. I am however not a massive Marvel fan, so the scene is still strange, even with the context that Megan had been impersonated by a shape-shifting Light Elf from New Asgard who defrauded one of Walters' former colleagues. Of course. As it happens, the suggestion to bring Megan Thee Stallion into the MCU came from Jameela Jamil, who plays the narcissistic Titania.
“It was just such a dream come true for so many of us, but especially for Titania, because she is such a huge Megan fan,” said showrunner Jessica Gao in an interview with Shadow and Act. “When we wrote the episode, we knew that we needed to have a very famous, successful, and beautiful female celebrity. But we weren’t sure [if they should be] should it be an actor or a musician, like they could all work, [but] it would just be kind of a different vibe for the story.

"We went through a lot of possibilities, but Jamila was the one who actually brought up Megan. When she brought it up, I mean, we just all collectively lost our minds.”
And now the Stallion is a canon hero in one of the biggest comic book universes in the world. It's what she deserves.
